Nostalgia
this is a dreamlike VR space inspired by a space in my childhood memories of softness, imagination, and playful fantasy. The environment is washed in layered shades of pink, creating an atmosphere that feels comforting and familiar. Floating bubbles drift through the space, catching light and reflecting sparkles as they move. spatial elements are incorporated. The space is intentionally bright and whimsical, designed to evoke the feeling of being a child lost in imagination, where time felt slower and emotions felt softer. The overall mood encourages reflection, calm, and emotional safety. Nostalgia invites users to reconnect with childhood joy and creativity through a comforting, magical atmosphere rooted in personal memory.
Pixie Hollow
Pixie Hollow is an immersive VR fairy garden experience that blends magical atmosphere with exploration-based adventure. The environment is a glowing, woodland filled with soft light, floating sparkles, and whimsical fairy homes. It is a serene, enchanted space where the objective is to find hidden magic mushrooms, each carefully concealed within the foliage and glowing subtly to encourage discovery. Glowing currents of light flow through the garden, highlighting the presence of fairies and guiding the viewer’s attention, helping them navigate. Mushroom and tree trunk fairy homes adorn the space. Fairies fly around the world, guiding the viewer. Pixie Hollow is an experience that focuses on wonder and exploration rather than challenges or obstacles. The design emphasizes atmosphere and visual storytelling, allowing the viewer to feel like they’ve stepped into a magical storybook.
Dreamland Park
Dreamland Park is a virtual reality theme environment designed as an immersive walkthrough. The concept focuses on atmosphere, character storytelling, and spatial emotion. I have created three interconnected themed areas, each centered around a creature I designed in ShapeLab: Winnie the Pooh, Owl Professor Winston, and Popo the Panda.
The park has with a welcoming pathway that guides visitors from one land to the next. I used color, scale, and lighting to reflect each character’s personality. Winnie the Pooh’s area (Honey Hollow) features warm golden tones, a tree log home, and a tipped honey pot beside him as he sleeps peacefully, creating a sense of comfort. Professor Winston’s space (Celestial Sanctuary) shifts into cooler blues and pinks, with subtle celestial elements to represent knowledge and imagination. Popo the Panda’s area (Bamboo Bay) transitions into a tranquil bamboo garden and bay with minimal forms to establish calm and balance. Dreamland Park emphasizes cohesion and dreams!
